Rochester Bass Masters

GENERAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

• Re-registration, including livewell and kill switch checks, will close one quarter-hour (1/4) before announced kick-off.  Everyone must re-register.  Remember, there is a one-half (1/2) pound per minute penalty for late re-registration.   If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be disqualified.
• Please know your kick-off position number.  If you are not in position to kick-off, you must go to the end of the line to take off.
• The weigh-in time will be announced at the tournament draw meeting and again during the kick-off, along with the weigh-in location and check-in point.
• Remember, there is a one (1) pound per minute penalty for late check-in.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be disqualified.
• Designated tournament committee workers will weigh-in first.  This is necessary to enable a smooth and effective weigh-in for all.
• There will be a last call for all weigh-ins.  Once the last call is made, you will have 10 minutes to get your fish to the measure master.  No excuses will be accepted after the 10 minutes are up.
• A 0.12 pound penalty will be assessed against each dead fish.  The penalty will be assessed against the dead fish.  No culling of dead fish is allowed at any time.  You are responsible for disposal of your dead fish.
• Fish presented for the weigh-in measuring less than 12 inches will be disqualified, plus the largest fish will be culled for each short fish presented.

Tournament Date: Saturday 8/28/10, Sunday 8/29/10

Launch Site: Village of Sodus Point Town Launch

Boat Check: Must be completed by 6:00 am.   We will be checking kill switch and live wells.

Kick off Time: 6:15 am or safe light

Weigh-in Site: Village of Sodus Point Town Launch

Check-in Time: 3:00 pm at the launch

Off Limits Areas: 20 foot radius around launch ramp

Special Rules: 5 mph speed limit from entrance to the first point (enforced).  Also, no alcohol is to be consumed in the parking area after the tournament.

Directions To Launch: From Rochester, take 590 north to 104 east.  Follow 104 east for 27 miles, to Old Ridge Road.  Turn left on Old Ridge Road and go 3 miles to Route 14 north.  Turn left onto 14 north and go approximately 4 miles to the launch (on the right side of the road, parking lot is on the left side of the road).
