Congratulations to Rochester Bassmasters members, who have won all 5 of the most recent New York State Federation points tournaments.  These are statewide tournaments with members from all B.A.S.S. affiliated clubs in the state participating.  When you consider that there are a total of 36 clubs in the state registered with the Federation, this is a truly remarkable feat.  Results as follows:

Jeremy Douglas, Cayuga Lake - July 20, 2014, 23.49 pounds

Chris O’Brien, Lake Champlain - June 22, 2014, 19.61 pounds

Jim Bianchi, Cayuga Lake - September 8, 2013, 15.57 pounds

Ken Golub, Lake Champlain - July 28, 2013, 20.37 pounds

Chris O’Brien also won the 2014 NYS Federation Angler of the Year Award, and the following club members qualified for the 12 man team event, to be held in 2015:

Chris O’Brien

Jeremy Douglas

Jim Bianchi

Casey Smith

TJ Valle

Rochester Bassmasters also received the NYS Federation Club of the Year award for 2014, and the Public Relations award for 2014.  Rochester Bassmasters finished first overall in club standings for 2014 with 119.25 pounds.
